I'm sure there were plenty of versions where the yellow ranger was a girl. That one specific season though that MMPR is based on, the yellow ranger was a dude thus the no skirt.

I don't mind the new suits. Sparks flying out of spandex doesn't work, at least armor can explain why they're suddenly much stronger or durable.

LOL I forgot about that. Get hit the chest, sparks fly and they have a burn mark and then two shots later its gone. Also the speculation would be an interesting twist since rita originally created that.

I'm actually gonna have to give the live action guyver another go. Part 2 stars David Hayter, and if I try really hard it's like Solid Snake had to deal with a bunch of aliens lol.
