also you didn't really experience it "from the perspective of a Templar" because you were led to believe you were an assassin
I'm wondering just how "recreated" it's going to be since AC3 takes place just a few decades later.- New York City. One of the most well-known cities in the world, fully recreated as it existed in the 18th century
Looks interesting. I really hope they follow Black Flag's lead in not only making a fun game, but one that says to the player, "Eh, by now we think you've probably figured out how to play Assassin's Creed games" and skips the tutorial intro.
Close to beating Black Flag, this should be great

Seems to be some kind of half off deal going on. I got it for $30 when I picked up Unity today. May be worth looking into if you're on the fence about the game.
PC version coming in 2015 - http://www.gameinformer.com/games/as...c-in-2015.aspx
I wish this was coming on Brobox...
It probably will like a year from now since Ubisoft has no shame about nickel and diming their customers.
So yo let's talk about this game. While everyone was freaking out over the clusterfuck that was Unity, Rogue came out to little fanfare. Rogue plays almost exactly like Black Flag, which is good because Black Flag was fucking amazing. There are a few new features but for the most part this is Black Flag in the North Atlantic. There is also no multiplayer in this game, so be aware of that. It is pretty interesting to see the world from the Templar perspective. I really like it but I do not think it's worth $60. I got it for $25 on Black Friday and feel that for that price it is a great game. It was also pretty cool to see some familiar characters likeSpoiler: show
I wanted it, but meh...360...
Its ubisoft. They'll re-release it in a year or two.

They took their sweet-ass time. Figured it'd have been done during the gap between Syndicate and Origins. I ended up just getting it for PS3 during a sale in retail a few months ago (grabbed it and Americas collection for $10 each) due to tired of waiting for modern-gen console versions of those games. Figured it'd have been done when they did the PC port, but nope.
Surprisingly these games still actually look pretty damn good by mid/late-gen PS3 standards, shadow resolution aside.
Considering this is like the other half of Black Flag I'm definitely getting this.
