Lol I can't even run it on low settings with everything turned off. FPS drop like a mother fucker. I'm going to blame Dueno or whatever it's called.

Idk why people claim Denuvo is the problem with some games lately. Lords of the Fallen was coded like shit either way, Denuvo didn't make a difference.
MGS V and Mad Max both used it, and those games both ran butter smooth.

Caved and got the game. Really fun so far.
Besides this whole cards business. Cash grab if I ever saw one.
Theres absolutely zero reason to every buy cards. You'll unlock packs thru normal play along with earning the in game currency to buy more.
That said, I don't even see the option in the PC version to buy any of it with real money.
Yeah, idk. I just assumed. I have no plans to really worry about it much. Most of it seems like extra perks or challenges which don't interest me. One of my packs did supposedly unlock ***** pistols though. Not sure how to use them. I'm not far enough in game to have pistols I guess.
Idk if cards can unlock skins, but they become available when you unlock the respective version of the weapon (I.e. Accipter Nox from one of the DLCs becomes available when you get the semi-auto pistol).
It might've been from the pack of the DLC. I got the Remnants one for buying from GOG.
Finished a moment ago, about the ending:

Rumor is circulating again that the PC version will receive a patch to enable DX12 support, and will also be receiving TXAA support in the future.
Beat this the other day. Was my first tomb raider. Not bad
having played all tomb raiders except chronicles, angel of darkness, and guardian of light (well, and rise of the tomb raider, which i shall do so in a day or two once i install my computer upgrades :D ) i can say you're probably playing one of the best of them. 2013 tomb raider was glorious after all the other previous ones, although aniversary/legend/underworld were pretty fun in their own way, and the first two were pretty challenging... but these newer ones really capture that adventuring feel. My only regret for 2013 tomb raider was that the actual tombs and puzzles that came with them were rather.... lacking. Everything else was amazing.
Can't wait to try this one out with an 8G video card and 16 gigs of ram... :D
I am close to end of rise, need to get 100% before i finish.
I feel like I enjoyed 2013 more than rise. I liked the story from 2013 better so far as well. I could pretty much tell a few things were going to happen in rise that did. I thought I could with 2013 but was wrong.
Rise is a nice game, but it seems like the same game with better graphics, more customization. Feels like I am just doing more of the same. And it isnt challenging. And the game progresses a bit too fast.
Rise is essentially the same game, but far longer and just as enjoyable. There's no challenge in the base game, I did my 100% Survivor run with only a few deaths. The challenge comes from Endurance mode. Anyone who wants challenge, it's there for you, and it is hard.
Yea, I thought the game was pretty damn easy on the base difficulty
Pretty much, yeah. "It's the same as that 9/10 game from 2 years ago but with a few minor improvements" is a pretty weak criticism. I refuse to buy it, sadly, because denuvo. Any DRM that constantly affects performance, no matter how marginal, is unacceptable.
Can someone tl;dr the denuvo shit to me? I've seen it mentioned a few times.
Have not noticed any performance issues.
Short version is that Denuvo isn't actually DRM, it's an encryption of the exe and any "real" DRM that may come with the game. People constantly make claims that Denuvo adversely affects performance and can destroy SSDs, despite there being zero actual proof of it.
The performance aspect came from the first game with Denuvo, Lords of the Fallen, running like absolute dogshit. However that had nothing to do with Denuvo and was just a result of a poorly coded game. MGS V, Battlefront, and Mad Max all use Denuvo, and some of the most well optimized/performing games of 2015.
The SSD portion comes from the process of de-encrypting writing data to the drive everytime you run the game, ignoring that most modern SSDs have a lifespan in the 100TB (or more) range.
