Haven't encountered any issues personally on PC aside from an occasional crash and some weird issues with models not loading every now and then. Also that annoying generation bug where shit can spawn under the floor of the planet, but that's an ancient problem.

Played a bit for the last couple of days. Only real bug I've hit has been when exiting the anomaly, the game would either put me into space without my ship or just crash. Fix for that was to put steam in offline mode and then exit the anomaly. Evidently there is some kind of issue with the multiplayer code when exiting the anomaly. https://steamcommunity.com/app/27585...1537291493926/

There was a patch for PC today (2.09) that fixes quite a few of the bugs I've been experiencing. From reading reddit I know I'm not the only one seeing these bugs, but glad to hear most people here aren't having too many problems. Keyboard rebinding is back in which, as a basic function that used to work, was especially infuriating.

• Enabled mouse and keyboard rebinding on PC. Gamepad and other device rebinding can be performed via Steam.
• Fixed an issue that caused starships to spin endlessly while attempting to dock in the Space Anomaly.
• Fixed an issue that could cause dismantling the Signal Booster to remove other building parts.
• Fixed a crash when displaying markers for other players.
• Fixed an issue that could cause hands to become invisible.
• Fixed an issue that could prevent players in multiplayer from speaking to NPCs on the Space Station.
• Fixed an issue in Creative Mode that would prevent the Overseer mission chain from starting.
• Fixed an issue where some players were unable to summon the Space Anomaly after upgrading from NEXT.
• Fixed an issue where players were asked to collect nanites from an unusable terminal during the Ghost in the Machine mission.
• Fixed an issue where players were charged too much when trading in their existing ship or Multi-Tool.
• Fixed an issue where ships that were being added to a player’s fleet would be instead be traded in if purchased while the player’s current ship still had cargo aboard.
• Fixed an issue that caused the Upgrade Modules popup to display too aggressively, and to experienced players who did not need to see it.
• Fixed an issue that caused overly dramatic camera shake in the Space Anomaly.
• Fixed a crash that could occur when quitting the game.
• Fixed a rare crash in base wiring.
• Fixed an issue that caused the loading progress value to appear in the wrong font in certain languages.

I just learned that every system has two paid upgrades (one at the multiplayer hub and one at the space station) but I have lost 0 credits when buying them (a lot of things make it sound like these were added with the BEYOND patch). I did the 50k-100k upgrades jumping to old systems and grabbing them from the space stations/MP hub. I have found three drop pods that held upgrades. Ships with max slots are 20M and max slot weapons are 2M (cheapest I've found). It is a day one character so I think I have a few glitches that will be with me forever (some crafts use NO resources).

Another huge patch just dropped, fixed over 100 major bugs and they added in a new system that is essentially Seasons from other games. You do various 'encrypted' missions to accrue Quicksilver that you may exchange for seasonal cosmetic rewards. It's similar to the system that was in place before Beyond, but it's much more fluid now with more defined rewards.

I tend to pick this up about 2-3x a year and just enjoy killing time flying around/exploring and stuff with no real purpose. Might be a good time to do that again.

It's pretty nutty to me how much work and time they've put into the game post-launch to make it into what it was meant to be without ever asking for a single cent past initial purchase.

Did they ever make the quick-access menu less ass for KB&M users? Having to scroll through multiple menu layers was tedious.

Never looked into that before. Looks like it's 10$ a month to play noman's, flight sim, outer world's, and halo. Not terrible.
