500 cap is probably due to the size of the store. I was there last week and it's not as big as you'd imagine.

If the ridiculous line for the Hyrule Warriors scarf bundle is any indication; people are going to line up 3 days before the 3 days before for this shit. I'm a Zelda fan but fuck that shit.
I love Zelda and even have a Toon Link tattoo but fuck that. Who in their right mind would spend three days lining up for a chance to play it? Not even own it?
Thirsty Nintendo fans desperate for a taste of any drip from the slow-brewing content machine that is Nintendo these days.
They totally would.
Also New Yorkers in general. They'll stand in long-ass lines for most anything.

Spoiler: show
Those stone creatures they keep focusing on look a lot like Fused Shadows from TP. With the Bridge of Eldin there too, I think were staying on the TP timeline. With the concept, I think its a huge missed opportunity not to do a follow-up to Zelda 2, but staying on the child timeline isn't too bad.
I wish they had gone more towards the TP art style with this one, but keeping it looking like SS isn't terrible.
Would have liked a bit more from the trailer, considering how long this has been in development. But I'm okay.
I feel this game is a 'follow up' of TP so
I was hoping it would take place in New Hyrule, personally. Master Sword confirmed that's not the case
Its definitely going to be farther along in the timeline then what we've seen considering the Master Sword is emphasized to be covered with vines and seems very old, so maybe TP timeline set at same time as original Zelda then?
Edit: rewatched the trailer, its not vines but seems to be rust/dirt, so still emphasizes its been neglected for a long time.
Why is no one asking the real question
Was the trailer, WIIU or NX based
Okay so the game AND the concepts within the game look very nice, especially for a Nintendo title, but goddamn, I hope there will be MORE things to see out there in terms of field population. Its a demo so its quite possible they've purposefully underpopulated the scenes, but if the game is that sparse at retail to make up for the shitty power of the WiiU/NX, its going to be very unfortunate.
You can't model your game after Skyrim and have completely sparse field without the ability to mod like Skyrim.
WEll guess it was WIIU since he has a gamepad
Edited again, wrong thread and I keep accidently coming into this thread >< .
Looked like a dead MMO that the player is playing alone lol. Hoping it isn't a whole lot of "big empty space just to move around quickly overtime with better transportation". Great interest to see what timeline this may associate with.
It looks very nice for a WiiU game. And yeah the Master Sword is super rusted. It looks like the lv 1 sword you start with in a RPG. Curious how long it has been sleeping
I agree that it felt empty, but the interaction with the world such as shopping trees, etc.. I liked a lot. I was more curious about the heavy armor and why is he wearing that unless it was the prologue. But since the voice over was saying "wake up" I was feeling that Link has been asleep for a long time and was waking up from a disturbance in the force (lol)
Trailer was sick and I have been hoping for more RPG aspects in a modern Zelda game. The defense/attack values have piqued my interest.
