Huni, Reignover, Pobeltor, Wildturtle, Adrian is the lineup for Immortals - pretty fuckin stacked for an NA team. Botlane being probably the least impressive part.
Would be hilarious if they beat both TSM and CLG in the standings this season.

that will definitely be the team i look forward to watching the most, even if i'm not a big wildturtle fan.
Every season though, I think "Wow NA has really improved their lineups" and then they play like shit, so who knows.
Big changes to LCS format in Summer 2016
tl;dr
EU gets Bo2
NA get Bo3
"Given the prevalence of Bo2 in many European sports leagues (specifically soccer…sorry, football), we decided to implement Bo2 format in a region where ties are both understood and accepted in sports culture. In NA, where there’s a regional sport tradition of avoiding ties, we chose to implement Bo3."
I actually really like that reasoning.
Also, I hope the Bo3 format goes with blind-pick for game 3. All game 3/game 5s should do that; it's super fun.
I'll copy over the important infographics.
This is great change IMO. Compressing the broadcast length and adding a second stream is great. It will likely increase overall viewership.
They are doing this in a very smart way. Surprisingly.
Meh I'd rather they picked one format for both, rather than splitting it and calling NA too dumb to understand BO2.
EU aphromoo

Does Black and Athletic work for league players?
Honestly, I hate Bo2. Not because I don't understand it, but because it diminishes the story of the underdog-- Reverse Sweeps are *fun*. You can't have a reverse sweep in Bo2s; you can, at best, tie. America loves the Underdog story, possibly more than any country on Earth-- there have been actual studies on that. It's also part of why America doesn't like ties.
Bo2s can appeal in Europe, and I get that. There are different cultural balances that swing that. It's not about being "too dumb to understand", it's about familiarity in culture, and cultural preferences. Not everyone's the same, and for all the clamor that America doesn't have a culture of its own, it very much does. We like clear wins and clear losses, we like come-backs. Bo3 offers all of that; Bo2 doesn't.

Even with an all Korean final, breaks all viewership records. Again.
TSM yellowstar confirmed.
Regis pockets are so deep
Well. I'm a little excited.
I've watched 0 allstars this year, just doesn't interest me - anyone else in the same boat?
I watched it in the background. Nothing too interesting.
I tried to watch it but got increasing bored, and Dash doing the exaggerated announcements for his 1v1 is a bit grating.
One good thing though was it gave me a new music to search for.
But it's nice to see players having a laugh/fun though. Gives them a bit more life/personality (but I don't watch any personal streams so...).
