Speaking of, this is a pretty good read about the riot hacks and also explains the sudden DDoS rampage that spawned a few months back: http://www.dailydot.com/esports/jaso...legends-hacks/
Riot really is in denial when it comes to Kassadin. Seriously guys Rift Walk is not 90% of what makes Kass op.
Straight talk:
Bo5 for all LCS playoffs awesome.
Expanding to ten teams in LCS is awesome.
NA getting one less week of prep for World's, not awesome, but not the fucking end of the world reddit is making it out to be.
Also, I hate morons that say that Riot is incompetent or evil or some other bullshit. Fucking A, they make a great game and they are making e-Sports a reality for people like me to watch. I don't care if you are some hipster e-Sports fan and you remember when teams only went to tournaments and there were only 2-3 stable teams and Riot had integrity. Shut the fuck up and enjoy something that wasn't even thought to be possible 2 years ago.
"Toxic" members of the community to be permabanned
http://www.vg247.com/2014/07/22/toxi...nently-banned/Starting today, League of Legends players who exhibit toxicity could receive two week bans – or even see themselves permanently barred from the game (or rather, for 2,500 years).
Responding to those who fear being caught by unfair bans, Riot’s Jeffrey Lin said that all permanent bans will be manually reviewed – not automated.
In fact, if players are genuinely convinced they have been unfairly banned they can protest – at which point Riot will publish the offending chat logs.
“Today is the start of tests where we’ll be using a new machine learning approach + Player Support manual reviews to target extreme cases of toxicity (such as intentional feeding, racism, death threats, homophobia, etc) and handing out pretty severe penalties such as 14-day or permanent ban,” Lin wrote on Reddit.
“In the past, we’ve avoided publicly naming and shaming players; however, we’ve learned in recent months that being transparent is extremely critical to the playerbase’s trust in our systems, so we’ve decided to do a compromise. If players complain about unfair bans for this particular system (so, have a ban year code of 2500), we’re going to be fully transparent and posting the chat logs that resulted in the ban.”
Lin said that reform attempts have been successful with “most players” but some are so reluctant to give up their precious toxicity that Riot has been forced to remove them entirely.

Good noob advice:
Played my first actual games in like 2-3 months, first game was a little shaky, second was pretty solid.
29/7/19 combined score.
I was there, it was against level 10 smurfs. I played bad :*(
Welp, just lost my promo to plat 1 because my entire team got fucked by riot and none of their team did.
Riot needs to disable ranked on NA until this shit stops period
I love that west coast players get no lag and after we're winning the game they get a free turn around and pretty much 4 free kills.
New Sona seems far too strong.
I chunked a vayne to 50% in one power chord at level 1.
As an EUW player.
