Went 20-2-8 with Urgot in a random normal match today with Topgot against a Fiora. I've got something like 1,700 ARAM matches in, so I'm very experienced at actual fighting, but not at SR since I'm 12-12 there. I don't have good roaming skills or all the 1v1 matchup experience, and I don't maneuver the camera very well yet, but I know how to fight.

My friends say I could make at least silver if I did ranked but I think I'll always be in that perpetual state of feeling like I need more training before fighting a real match, so I doubt I'll ever do solo ranked.

Just play it, if you just play a few games you'll lose the stigma.
