I don't feel like the Hawks are in any type of trouble whatsoever. They were a stupid fuck Nick Leddy block away from going to the stanley cup for a second time in five years. They have a really good core that's going to be around for a while. Even if they drop a few studs and gain a few younger players they can keep it going.
Not really in trouble now. I know they ask for 12 as a starting point and will likely go down to around 9-10 id hope.
Never change Canada

I know, eh?
A lotta Canadian's went in the first round eh? It's aboot time considering a Canadian invented the sport (....in Kansas... but a Canadian none the less eh).
I think the 'Hawks will be fine. They have Crow, Keith, Hjammer, and most of their forwards either locked up or RFAs for the immediate future. Obviously they need to keep Kane and Toews past next summer but I think they'll get it done. Bad news, Bestern Conference, CHI and LA aren't going anywhere.
More like NB-Meh.
Caps complete the Nashville trifecta by hiring Lane Lambert. Trotz and goalie coach Mitch Korn already in house.
Can't wait to see what these guys can do with the power play the Caps have. Also if they turn Carlson and Holtby into Weber and Rinne that would help too.
Hawks re-signed Raanta and playoff hero Ben Smith. Awww yeaaa

About two months ago I was diagnosed with a rare terminal disease called AL amyloidosis. It’s causing abnormal protein to be produced and deposits are being formed on my heart. It’s hardening my heart and my doctors aren’t sure how long I have to live. Initially they thought years, but now they think it could be a lot less. I could be down to months or even weeks.

and ouch
Back in the olden days, asking for a trade was a simple, straightforward affair. All you did then was storm past your coach, get right up to the team president who's sitting by the glass, tell him your time in his city was over, and that's it. Traded.
Yeah definitely, but there's not much roster flexibility right now. They have 12 F and 7 D (and 3 RFAs, Schmidt Latta Schilling) on the roster now. They're not using a buyout (why do they have Volpatti again?) and I'd hate to lose a guy like Brouwer or Ward in a roster dump trade.
Bruins doing things nobody cares about, people still hate Boston.
