Gary Bettman accepted his icebucket challenge. I may not like him very much as the commissioner but he gained a couple respect points with me for doing it.
Is the ALS challenge purely to build awareness about the disease? Or is there money actually being raised for research? It seems like anyone and everyone involved in the NHL (as well as other places) is doing it
They are donating as well. I think the challenge is you have to dump the ice or donate but most of the celebrities and athletes have been donating and dumping the ice on them anyway, at least from my understanding of it.
Read somewhere they got about 270k last year. This year somewhere close to 2 million. So this campaign has done well.
So yea that video sold me on NHL '15. Be the first one I've played in about ten years. Going to be rusty as fuck.....

Over the head gameplay
The last of the whalers retires, giguere plans to announce retirement next week.
The commentary is pretty awful imo. Really choppy and robotic since he says a couple words, pause waits for next action, says something else, pauses. It needs to flow better and there is so little emotion in it.
When my Be a Pro scores the game 7 overtime Stanley Cup winning goal, Doc better show a little more emotion than what he did in this video.
