1yr bump stuff~
S4 is on Netflix and S5 starts this weekend
---
Are we ready to watch it all fall apart with Kim?
Gus vs Lalo should provide enough fireworks.
Nacho has "more to do" and may eventually earn Fring's trust and respect, but is his dad really in the clear?
Mike will hafta do more Mike stuff and save the super lab.
I predict Jesse Pinkman is gonna make an appearance, maybe even in chemistry class.
---
Mike is my favorite, and the more I find I enjoy his character the more I find I hate Walt.
Just finished S4.
Rhea played Kim's reaction perfect at the very end of the season. Such frustration, shock, anger, disdain, and disappointment all rolled into one.
I get why Werner had to die, but I wish it didn't happen and I wish Mike wasn't forced to do it. Lalo gets on top of things quick, him vs Gus and Mike is going to be a lot of fun.
We know Hank and Steve are in S5; I'm willing to bet that Kim ends up being public defender for Badger/Pete or Marie at some point too. Seems like a natural way to get a few more of the cameos in before an inevitable Jessie/Walt.
Very psyched for S5.
Alcohol, a few other things, and this show literally sustain me during the winter around here.
Great first episode to start the season.
I watched The Walking Dead half-season premiere.
Then I watched the Better Call Saul premiere.
The contrast in quality and writing was so stark that it made me go back and finally take TWD off my scheduled recordings. 9 seasons and 9 episodes in, I finally kicked the habit tonight. About four seasons too late, I think.
I saw on Twitter that Negan was trending and it made me extremely glad that I stopped watching this show since they introduced his character.
Which season ended with the fire? was that season 3 or 4? Because that's the last episode of Saul I watched.
I know it's been said (including by myself) but some of the ages of these actors is really starting to show. It's not super distracting or anything, but most of these people clearly look older than when BB started. It doesn't break my immersion (unlike Meth Damon being 300 lbs) but if I had one minor nitpick with the show it is that.
Other than that I think the show is next to perfect.
gonna wait to watch until tonights episode comes out too, super excited this show is back
Lol another season, another Kaylee! I wonder how many we've had now
Was the gameboy a throwback, or Gilligan telling us that this may be earlier in time than we thought?
It just seemed so out of place.
Spoiler: show
We've been shown explicit dates a few times. We know it's mid-2004 right now. (the plasma TV that Saul imagines at the open house is on-point with the time) It's maybe 2012-2013 or later with Gene in Omaha; we know less there.
Anything from other years is just flavor or easter eggs or mild/understood oversight. I think some of the LCDs used might be a bit too new, but the team does very well overall. They're mostly all 4:3 at least.
