It's the same granddaughter (Kaylee). BCS is supposed to take place in 2002 and BrBa starts in 2008. The Breaking Bad wiki puts her at 10, so in BCS she would be 3-4.

What a fantastic backstory episode. Was almost starting to wonder if Mike had just been a retired state worker doing a pittance job and collecting a pension before he teamed up with Jimmy/Saul.
series already has me eager to learn what his breaking point is. they've done a good job tempting him so far, willing to cut a few corners but overall do the right thing, etc.
Spoiler: show
I think it has something to do with Swatello.
EDIT: Kim Wexler.
Swatello was her Lawyer name on Franklin & Bash.
Really loving this show. Glad it's an "ongoing" plot and not a case of the week kinda formula. Sad it's over for the season in 2 episodes
After yesterdays episode I think it's pretty obvious.
Spoiler: show
i'm wondering if chuck will kill himself or die in some way after the sandpiper thing goes to shit
awesome episode, had the right players but the how was quite a surprise. can't wait for next week!
Fantastic episode... Loved the Mike scene in the carpark!
Trevor and Lester too. God that final scene was painful
So got a question for you guys: The girlfriend and I haven't (yet!) watched Breaking Bad. But she has taken a liking to Better Call Saul, so we've been watching it. When should we watch Breaking Bad? Would the BCS experience be different knowing what the character is like in BB? Or is it being written with a few easter eggs that we're going to miss by not knowing BB while watching BCS?
watching breaking bad isn't going to change how you watch BCS that much honestly, BB should be watched on its own merit of being one of the best television shows ever aired. that said, i really enjoyed this episode and how they portrayed howard. also loved everything about mike being awesome, especially the bad guy/criminal speech.
Such an amazing episode. Looking forward to next week
Maybe this is what causes to resurrect the name Saul Goodman due to the fact that...
Spoiler: show
so Mike calls Nacho "Ignacio" and (wouldn't have remembered if I hadn't read it) in Breaking Bad:
Spoiler: show
hmmmm...
wow... did not see that coming from Chuck. maybe Hamlindigo isn't that much of an asshole
also the guy with the guns in the parking garage reminded me of Trevor from GTAV
i wonder why
