I have to agree with this, and even if it was "2 for 1" job placement, It'd still be a big improvement over the "1 or nothing".
But I've stopped playing(for now) for a while now so I'm not head deep in crippling pessimism >_>;, its fun to look at update notes from the outside :d
True, well it says early July, so in 2-3 week we will know...
Haste 2 for RDMs seems good I hope it's something sexy for them. I wonder what other job adjustments they have planned.
I hope Haste 2 has twice the base potency and duration of Haste 1 and stacks with it. Then maybe jobs other than Bard could get invited to fights where there is not significant enough AoE damage to warrant bringing a WHM. RDM and DNC can be reject support job bros.
I want Zealous Snort with Haste II potency haste pls SE, ty.
My bet will be it will be barely enough to cap or at least almost cap magic haste with only 1 march (not counting SV) and SE will be like see rdm is useful because it gives brds song +1!
Haste II: self-target only
geo spells are/were actually quiet potent. geo-precision was % based and was omnipotent as fuck, SE had to nerf it and made it into a fixed number (gives now the same as madrigal), geo-focus (m.acc) is insanely strong. most buffs are potent (some not as potent as cor) but most are.
Here is top hoping they use the nocturne set and add more pieces to it for a more complete set :D
More 6 man bcnms... yay. Really excited for the new blu spells at least.
Maybe the shadow lord BC will drop item lvl nocturnus mail/helm. I always liked the look of that set. I'm happy about new blu spells too but also ready to be disappointed if they end up sucking while also costing 6 set points.
My guesses for some possible spells would be:
Pentapeck or molting plumage
Sweeping gouge, zelous snort would be cool but I don't see them adding this unless it doesn't have the counter rate attached and the haste isn't super potent. Because diffusion or some BS.
Sensilla blades maybe. I know we already have a chapuli spell but it wouldn't be the first mob we have two spells from.
Maybe something from Dullahan? Or one of the big butterflies. Can't remember all the Adoulin mobs off the top of my head.
And possibly 3 UL spells from the 3 Delve/WKR we don't have yet.
I'm sure there will be at least one or two that'll make me happy.
They really aren't all that powerful... at least assuming they do the same thing as the relic sets, where they got virtually no new abilities and are powerful because of their merit augments...
Basically: the empy sets are mostly just +skill and >75 JA augments... The draw to wearing 4~5/5 of them was the set bonuses...
I think what may be happening is that the set bonuses conflict with Matsui's vision of mixing and matching all three AFs (ala 75era style) and supplementing that with other iLv gear.
I bet they're deciding if they want to maintain the set bonuses (thereby making it less favorable to the vision) or if they want to make the former set bonuses simple straight buffs....
And if they're straight buffs how will they work? Will they just be a fraction of the set proc that is always on? Will they have the full potency of the set proc but the chance is increased so that 1/5 will actually see the effect happening? (sort of like quick magic... where each piece has a small % to proc the former set bonus. ex: "Occ. absorbs damage taken +3%") Will they be the proc rate of a 5/5 but potency varies by # of pieces? (that one keeps the set bonus)
lol I was just thinking that haste2 would be accessionable...
because it would make sense for them to do something like that... only to have to nerf it later (ala geo spells) or adjust SMN's hastega to be haste2 level haste...
Or like other people have joked: accessionable... but is -delay lol
whm, its already a permastaple.
