Just saw this. Easily the worst Predator movie and it isn't close. Olivia Munn might have actually been the highlight of the film, if I had to select something..

I still don’t understand the need for this movie to have been made the way it was. The last one I thought was a great return to form to the original. Memorable characters, great action scenes, grimey atmosphere, and predator(s) fucking shit up. Even an open enough ending for any follow-up script to easily transition into.

I don’t even see a common trend this movie is trying to capitalize on to justify it.

Well, shit. I had plans to go to The Nun, but everyone's saying it sucks. So I thought, oh Predator is also coming out so maybe we'll do that instead. Yeah, right. Goddamn cinema and nothing good to go to!

I don’t know how to explain this one really. There are VERY noticeable parts of the film that seem to crawl to like 15FPS, similar to a videogame lagging. The editing is extremely bad, at times, especially toward the end.

Some of the acting and writing seemed so awful that it was done on purpose. Particularly, parts with the kid’s mother was embarrassingly acted out. And it’s the actress from Handmaiden Tale who is typically stellar on screen.

They actually had an amazing cast for this film and failed to utilize them properly. Guy that plays Theon from GoT is an amazing performer and you hardly notice he is even in the film for 3/4 if it. Shane Black should be embarrassed by this effort.
