Friend went pld/dnc, I was sam/dnc. Fight is a joke, but that is obviously to be expected. I've gone 3 times now, not seen it drop. Think that was his first or second run, and he got marrow.

Checked out Baf II Salvage. Each of the Ramparts on Floor 4 will now pop out 14 gears up from 8. While that is 12 more guaranteed Alex per run, I can see ppl with unlucky links getting their ass handed by 14 gears also lol

My biggest concern with that is more than Khimaira is a sissy whereas Cerberus kinda requires specific jobs to be able to kill it.
On PUP/THF I can do Arrapago II linking even 16+ gear and kill them all with Spinning Attack without even having to sweat to do it.
And then kill Khimaira with my eyes closed and my hands behind my back.

Now Cerby? I'd need to use BLM doll, or RDM doll and Chainspell... I haven't tried myself, but I don't see it working as good as ArraII.

Nah, North and La Vaule Ops were available prior to the update on Phoenix. We have thoughtful JP's who arrange these things in advance.

Windurst has their zones, and La Vaule >_>, but northlands weren't taken yet on Asura. I did my part to help though and beat the crap out of Xarcabard for a bit yesterday :I, got the Beastmen thing down and each nation is above them now.

Just got Frazzle II from Fiat Lux. Think it's safe to say all the new spells (with probable exception of geo-whatever) will drop there during the campaign campaign.

Is saboteur gimped on NM's or just estoq hands? Ffxiwiki just said the estoq hands bonus was halved and nothing on bgwiki.

Shadow Lord V2 on Normal is about what you'd expect. All of his TP moves seem to be AoE and take shadows - Umbra Smash(?) was a very potent Curse, at least 50% HP down. Just like the mission fight, phase 1 jumps between magic immunity and physical immunity, Formless works fine on both immunities. Seemed fairly evasive even on Normal. He is not immune to Stun. Didn't see any ADL TP moves, and it did not split when we did it.

Phase 2 he just stands in one place and spams Implosion (High AoE, ignores shadows) so just gather everyone up around him, spam curagas and rush it.

Got the Great Axe with Add: Death as a drop, haven't had a chance to test it yet.

Looks like GEO spells in general can come from the Ops, got a "Stonera II" spell from Plucking Wings (which btw took about 1 minute to solo on THF/DNC, didn't even need to cure myself).
