    New RDM Spell Discussion

Post any relevant information you find pertaining to these spells.

    Falgima- Selbina (H-9) Flurry
Tya Padolih - Mhaura (G-9) Distract, Frazzle
Mazuro-Ookuro - Tavnazian Safehold (F-9) Frazzle II, Distract II
Lendericus - Western Adoulin (H-5) Haste II, Flurry II

Flurry/FlurryII use the same icon as Haste/HasteII and Haste II/FlurryII will overwrite each other.

Also noted (kind of obvious from the dats, but still posting)that all three new Tier 1 spells are within /rdm range.

    EDIT:

    Distract: -35 base evasion
Distract II: - 50 base evasion
    Haste II: 30%

    All tests done naked RDM/WHM:

    Reraise: 51 seconds

    Reraise(Haste) 43 seconds

    Reraise(Haste II) 35 seconds

    Reraise/weakened: 1 minute 42 seconds

    Reraise/weakened(Haste) 1 minute 34 seconds

    Reraise/weakened(Haste II) 1 minute 26 seconds

If anyone can figure out the potency of Haste II from those, I'm not quite sure how to do the calculations for it beyond that.

Distract I = -35 Eva at base. Does not appear to have a dStat term but was just casting on a naked player, so who knows.

Distract II = -50 Eva at base.

There was no base potency difference between /rdm Distract and Rdm main Distract.

    Distract I with Uk'uxkaj Boots = -36 Eva.

Distract II with Rdm Emp Body+2 and Uk'uxkaj Boots = -57 Eva.

Distract II with Rdm Emp. Body+2, Uk'uxkaj Boots, and Saboteur (along with Rdm Emp Hands+2 Sab bonus) = -108 Eva.

Both appear to have a 2min base duration. The Sab Distract II lasted around 4min30sec~

Geez, I wonder what a well geared GEO's Indi-Torpor and Distract would do to those high evasive mobs :D

So Distract II is 10 more -eva than Gravity II. Not bad, although could be better. The important thing is it's split from Gravity which means it can now land on things resistant to gravity(wind based mobs, THF mobs, mobs previously immune to Grav, like Abyssea etc). Additionally I suspect that armor that enhances enfeebling like Estoq. Sayon and Uxkaj Boots also affect Distract II and also Saboteur(did nothing for Grav's -eva, only movement speed). All in all I can't complain.

Hey it could be worse, he could be Sechs!

Back IT now, any slightly more relevant tests on Flurry and Flurry II?
Do they and Haste II work with Accession? (I imagine not)
Do they work with Perpetuance? (I imagine they do, Tier 1 of course since SCH cannot access T2)

you dont like to read version update notes right?

in version update notes it states:
Targets under the effects of Weight no longer have their physical evasion decreased.

I havent looked at it, but if Distract is strictly Eva down, its probably ice based, therefor wont land on anything Ice resistant, similarly to how Gravity didnt land on anything Wind resistant.

Same issue with a different element.

Confirming that Haste II does not.

Yes but I was saying it in a happy manner. This will make GEO and RDM combos more attractive for high enfeebling evasive mobs.

Frazzle II's magic evasion debuff is extremely potent. Before the patch, in my best enfeebling gear, I could land bind around 30-50% of the time on D MR. However, with Frazzle II on, I managed to keep AAMR Gravitied and Bound for about 5 minutes, with only a single non-resist trait resist owing to built up resistance.

Tried Accession with Flurry and, as expected, it doesn't work.
    Perpetuance does of course.

What's the base duration of Flurry? 3 mins like Haste? And what about Haste2? 3 mins like original haste or 5 mins like Erratic Flutter?
