Remember, Battleborn has a stricter NDA than Overwatch.

Cool, I registered, got a key, took a shower, came back to put it in, and the key had already expired 15 minutes later. Now I have to register on another email account.
dunno, but hypothetically if someone had played it and were to post that it was all right but not something they'd buy full price, that might be
hypothetically that might be me
Also, considering it uses Steam, I'd assume anyone in a player's friends list would know that they're playing it.
Hypothetically I was cursed out for not playing perfectly both times I tried to play the game. Fuck people.

Open Beta coming "later this year" (game launches May 3rd), PS4 gets Early Access

So open beta right now!
I played a little bit and kind of enjoyed the PvE missions,
I would be all over this open beta if DS3 werent tomorrow. I LOVED the last beta
I enjoyed the PvE stuff (need more time to learn PvP), but not sure how many people I know that will get the game :/
everyone gonna get overwatch instead even tho they are so diffferent. gdi gearbox how could your timing be so shitty
It's overwatch all PvP Arena? I think I like the PvE aspect of Battleborn :/
Correct OW is all PVP and Battleborn has the PvE along with campaign
Gave the beta on PS4 a shot and I like the potential it has. I'll reserve final judgment until I can try it on PC cause the PS4 has a few glaring problems that kinda killed my enjoyment. Shitty default FoV with no sliders, 30FPS, jank ass controls, some melee characters literally block your view with their skirts when you jump too high (Rath and Phoebe).
Other than that it was enjoyable, Meltdown being my favorite PvP game mode that was available and Reyna being my go to for unstoppable with a team mate pub stomping. I've rapidly lost interest in Overwatch and I'm glad someone reminded me Battleborn existed.
I am probably getting both lol. on xbone tho, sorry broven
I haven't played since technical alpha with all the NDA stuff. Not sure what has been fixed but the glaring issue I have is indicators for objectives being lost in the clutter of the HUD. I get it that in higher skill brackets this issue can be ignored, but on entry, most pub teams won't know what to do besides kill each other. It's so easy to snowball if one team focuses on objectives while the others derp around. I get that snowballs can occur in both Battleborn and Overwatch, but because power is level dependent in Battleborn, there is little hope for comebacks even if everyone can focus fire a squishy.
That was my main complaint. Secondary is the hectic HUD when everything is happening with particle spam everywhere that you get disoriented.
Been enjoying the beta, probably more than I expected, on top of playing more than I expected as well(currently rank 47 for example). I haven't really tried much of the story as PvP is my main aim for this game, though PvE looks enjoyable as well. Meltdown is indeed lots of fun, I hate Incursion with a passion. I cry everytime Incursion gets picked
There's also way too many people quitting in matches, highly annoying, either that or they're afking, which is just as bad. The character I ended up liking the most, seems to be one of the most OP, and I'm sure she's gonna get nerfed
I'll wait for Overwatch beta to sell me whether or not I'll get that or Battleborn, though may just end up getting both and putting UC4 on hold.
