Kunimitsu Announced

As we enter a new season of Tekken 7 esports competition, additional gameplay improvements and new content are coming for the acclaimed fighting game title in its Season 4 update.

Kicking-off the updates are the return of Kunimitsu and a brand new Vermilion Gates stage, both will be available in fall 2020. Kunimitsu’s last official appearance in a Tekken game was in Tekken 2, her return will surely excite fans looking to wield her Manji Ninjutsu skills in battle.

Along with Kunimitsu and the Vermilion Gates updates, there will be an array of free updates coming to Tekken 7, including:

• New Moves for all characters

• Updated UI.

• Online Play Enhancements: Wi-Fi Indicator and Response Improvement (Rollback/Net-code Improvement)

• Tekken Prowess: Score of total Tekken ability, influenced by highest own rank/total rank of all characters, play stats, number of matches.

• Rank System Renewal: New highest rank “Tekken God Omega” will be added. All player’s rank will be gone down a bit (around 4 ranks)

Starting tomorrow, Lidia Sobieska will be joining the fray in Tekken 7 as the last character of the Season Pass 4.

Lidia has always been an upright and resolute woman. She believes that justice requires absolute power, which is why she has shown great interest in karate from a very young age. The loss of her father stoked her interest in the family tradition of politics. Lidia showed great qualities in both areas, entering and winning her first karate world championship at 18, and more recently being one of the youngest rising stars in the Polish political arena. The war started by the Mishima Zaibatsu is greatly affecting Poland and she is committed to settle the situation with her own fists.

Alongside this new character, a new stage will also be added, Island Paradise, a blissful location ready to accommodate the most gruesome fights!

Both DLC 18 (Lidia) and 19 (Island Paradise) will be available as part of the Season Pass 4 or can be purchased separately.
