I think BG Forum would benefit greatly from a front page FFXIV/SE games/MMORPG/Gaming/ whatever related news, like in mmo-champion.com

Notable front page contents that would be great that I can think of:
-World first race news
-BLOGS, if they're non-livejournal-my-diary type
-Patch notes/Hotfixes
-Raid guides/Job+Crafting Guides
-maintenance schedule/timer countdown
-servers status
-SE FFXIV Census/Survey
-LB radio podcast/Whatever FFXIV talk shows on youtube
-BG variety poll
-datamines result from patch
-Tweets from devs/top world raiders/etc (*cough*twitter intergration*cough*)
-Official forum GM response

basically hire content farmers, and put front page contents that people can look at everyday.

It all sounds nice and everything but whenever we put someone to work on a frontpage / newsletter type of thing they went MIA after a few months.
