That VA did a great job in the video; lets hope the entire game's VA turn out to be that good.

Wait fuck, this is today too?!
Yeah and the reviews are really good for it.
Wow.
Because they can police whether or not someone is doing it primarily for music lol

Aka no fun allowed
Not wanting free advertising will never make sense to me when companies do this type of thing. Unless your game is crap and you are trying to hide it.
From what I've seen its a good game so that excuse doesn't work either. I could understand if it was The Order 1886 or something.
Been watching streams, so people are ignoring that warning. It's a very nice looking game, if a bit slower than Hyrule Warriors was. The more of a DQ fan you are, the more you're going to like the game.
Seems to use the same British/European voice localization as Dragon Quest 8 did, so you'll have to like that brand of VA in your JRPG, which for me, always felt really off. Some of the voices are just are spot on (The King and the Villain) but to me, most are just horrible (Alena being particularly bad). There's a lot of grunting and such too, during the un-voiced dialog, and NPCs have a canned resonses for most common selections. For example, each time you buy something, and there's times when you're buying a lot of things at a time, they'll say the same thing over and over again. Not the best of audio design decisions, with the latter two.
I generally never stream but I plan to stream this mostly because of the warning.
maybe they are trying reverse psychology to get more people to stream?
I think it's more about strictly applying copyright laws to content/technology that doesn't really fit into those stringent laws, but companies aren't always interested in pioneering a stance change.
When I stream a game, is my content the game, or the experience and interaction I bring to my viewers? It's not like a movie/song, where all you can do is watch or listen. Watching someone play a game is fundamentally different then you yourself playing said game, and I'm not sure copyright should be used to deny that type of content experience. I'd argue that most people watching have zero intent on every buying anything a streamer plays for the sole reason that its because they can watch some streamer play the game; they go there for the community experience that streamer brings to the table for whatever content they happen to be showing; game or otherwise.
Streaming from the beginning to stick it to the man
Edit: Thats all for now, more later
I've only briefly played Dynasty Warrior type games before so here goes nothing
I swear to god if Healix doesn't shut the fuck up (slurp)
But she's so gooreat.
Not.
Loving it so far. I kinda wish we had DQX.
Why is there no one from DQ7?
Also does western have the DLC char from jp?
They plan to have it avaialble, for free, but you'll need to first reach a certain segment in the main story, at which point you'll receive letters at the in-game post office allowing you to take part in the additional episodes.
Do I still have to find it free online then? Is it up yet or will be later?
