Actually, I didn't consider ramen, that is one exception I guess.

If I'm having NQ ramen (pot/packets), then yup fork til broth and drink, occasionally I'll drink in between consuming ramen
For HQ ramen (i.e. served at an establishment) then it's fork and spoon, enjoy the goodness of the HQ soup with the ramen it's meant for, and drink if anything is left, although I tend to distribute it evenly until I finish

My fiance breaks up the packet twice before boiling it and eats it with a spoon, it is actually pretty great that way. She eats almost everything with a spoon, its like a new world to me.

Funny you mention HQ ramen at an establishment, going up to NYC for lunch at Totto Ramen monday. Extra Spicy with Char siu pork can't wait.

I use chopsticks full time at home (with my mother she enforces chopstick usage). But when I'm out, screw that, I'm lazy mode about it! It's like a treat.

Chopsticks + Spoons for everything in my house. Those nice big asian soup spoons too. I don't fuck with reg-o spoons no more.
