High court ruling may lead to gay marriage in 30 states
Sorry if this has already been posted, but I haven't seen it here yet. This is big news in Utah right now, being one of the states who appealed the lower court rulings. Today the Supreme Court officially denied all appeals, which upholds all lower court rulings and makes same sex marriage legal in 5 more states, with more to come.
I'm a little disappointed they didn't issue an actual ruling in favor of same sex marriage, since this leaves a lot of states in limbo, but it's still a step in the right direction.
