Is it that though? This seems to have come out of nowhere within the past week or so. To be honest, shit seems mostly fabricated from fucktards wanting to review bomb this movie.

I can understand the hate with Ghostbusters which deliberately embraced identity politics and went out of its way to antagonize the older fanbase. Or with the Last Jedi which was flat out terrible and made the female leads all look incompetent at every level.

Captain Marvel has been a prominent character on her own for decades. She’s not replacing any beloved male lead and everyone knew this movie was coming at some point years ago.
