I would love it if they implemented the PVP button system with the regular hotbars. Put all combos on 1 button that automatically upgrades to the next move in the combo would clear up quite a bit of space on a few of my jobs.
I've never found any of the jobs hard except monk and black mage, but boy are some of the rotations tedious if you're spending a long time in one sitting farming or progressing. RDM is the least tedious by far and its rotation feels so smooth. Healers are mostly reactive so you can just press buttons when you want, although ShB AST looks like its card system is gonna be a new kind of headache. Tanks look like they're gonna be much easier to play, in a good way, than they are now. PLD had the worst fucking button bloat of them all so I'm glad that's getting axed.
It looks like DNC is gonna have a lot of shit to push and keep track of and I'll probably main it in ShB because it's the closest to what AST is right now and I do enjoy the decision making when it comes to buffing party members.
Sam doesn't flow quite as smoothly as Rdm. Nothing does XD
Welp I'm retarded Drg and Sam are both fun. Drg 35 tho and Sam 60 makes more sense to do Sam first. Guess I didn't lose interest from the job it was from having no one to play with which I do this time around. Drg looks way cooler tho. Wasted a bit of time leveling rogue from 1 and getting Non unlocked, but at least I narrowed it down some.
im a big number whore so sam is great for me with midare or whatever its called, feels so goddamn satisfying to use
Fastest way to earn FC points? I've been spending them all on gathering buffs and ceruleum tanks, ugh.
probably gear turn ins.
You're thinking GC points. I'm not sure how else to get FC points other turn leveling up jobs
You get both for turning in gear. Is how we ranked ours up so fast years ago.

Who do you turn in gear to for FC points? What have I been missing out on?
There is no second turn-in place. They are just referring to turning shit in for GC seals, but it's doing double-duty and also granting your FC points. FC points are just given with no fanfare.
Your FC gets points whenever any member does crafting/gathering (just for HQ, it seems), running dungeons, quests, basically they're just points for "your members are playing the game."
At your GC, under handins, there's an "expert" option, takes some crafted, and almost all dungeon gear and gives you gc seals and fc points.
Quite a lot of them actually. Points vary based on "rarity" and "level" of gear, if you get an expert roulette where no one else in your party wants anything, you can probably walk away with 10k+ gc seals and I'm not sure how many fc points, but quite a few.
Oh, I had no idea the GC turn ins also gave FC points too. Today I learned.
Thanks. I recall crafting a buttload of Madman staves back in the day to rank up someone's FC but I was hoping there was a faster/better option nowadays. Oh well.
