So going back to tanking. I'm 50 on PLD so I guess the general flow would be:

1. Pop Iron Will
2. Pull cluster of mobs by running in and using my AoE combos
3. Get in place, rotate CDs, and pray my team doesn't think I'm a spaz because I pulled too much

2 quick questions about SCH since I was going to try that unless there's a better healer:

1. How critical is the pet command hotbar? All I really noticed so far is Guard gives embrace which is what my fairy is defaulted to. Curious if it has any real use or not since I'm trying to have as few hotbars as possible to avoid a huge cluster.

2. Is there a difference between Eos and Selene?

1. Tbh, I ignored it for years and did fine on everything, but finally decided to improve myself at some point using place command to stick the fairy in one spot makes it a little more effective because it won't interrupt its casting to follow you etc. However you could handle that with a macro.

2. Not anymore, purely visual difference only now

Is there a text line command that lets me turn off and on system messages? Or more specifically, the spam of "you cast a glamour" messages when I apply a glamour plate?

I got around to getting different glamours for my Rdm/Smn/Blm and want to turn that spam off

Is fishing still the fastest way to farm skybuilders scrips? Or is there a new consensus?

Some of the new fetes for the festival give you a scrips but I’m not sure where it ranks on time/investment.

Each time the fete's spawn, there are 5 in a row, each giving 100 scrips (plus other stuff). So yeah, given the infrequency of them, it's not really great =X

I did get my Antelope Stag mount though, just need to get the glamour coffer

So yeah it's like on every 3rd day in the real world, for a full 24 hours fete's spawn once every 2 hours, and each time it's 5 fete's in a row. And winning gives 2 fete presents per fete (10 in total which can either be fete tokens or more rarely, if I'm not mistaken, items you can actually purchase with those tokens), 100 scrips, and some EXP I think. I dunno the EXP value as all my crafters and gatherers are at 80

1. Is there a UI setting to hide the white speech bubbles that appear in some FATEs/fights/etc?
2. Can you hide your connection status UI?

If you're on PC you can hit the scroll lock key and it'll hide the entire UI

How much of a grind are the level 50 relics now-a-days? Anyone got an up to date rundown? I kinda want a glamour or two

The books part is probably the most annoying/frustrating part, especially with having to wait for certain fates. It's not that bad to be honest but best paired with something else you need to do like getting through some anime or TV.

The lights can be a minor bit tedious too in that you go through some low level dungeons to try and fish for bonus light, or just keep spamming some of the lower level dungeons. I personally like Aurum Vale as I can do that done in about 3.5 minutes.

I need some reassuring here. As a Blm primary and Rdm secondary, the i510 body piece with it's substats and 5 melds is better than the i520 piece right? Even if I were to meld shit onto the 520 set?
