Turned in all 160 items and moonstones today for my 8 Luci.

All I need to do now is 5 more offhand melds and mastercraft II books and I'm FINALLY caught up on crafting (took a 9 month break from 2.1 > 2.5).

I don't think the parse is really that interesting. We were 309~341 so everyone was pretty close and SCH hps was just over 1600. Encounter time was 13:26.

Two were designated to tank and swap after flattens. Others had adds to pick up so we always had a full set of cd. The megaflare tether dance in last phase took us a while to get down. Holmgang can only take 3 hits safely from Akh Morn when you have aggro, so we had some fun with splitting up Akh 4 with like a 3 way tank swap.

Just be a crafter, and sit and live on crafting the relic 3star item HQ all day

Should only take about... 2 months if your the one and only mostly seller.

Back when the 2.4? 3star relic items came out, it was about 100mil PER WEEK (I did some hardcore undercutting of course, up to 100K at times or more on 200K items). Its a market of probably 50mil a week now though and potentially tougher competition.

Although some say "oh noes why you dropping the 300K item down in price", you got to consider, if your the one and only person selling the item for 70-100K all day long, your making way more than a person selling 0-2 per day a 300K item with a ton more competition vs selling 8-12+ 70-100K items.

More work, but more gil!

Yeah it's for sure possible, I just don't have the motivation or incentive for it x: I haven't crafted since I got all my lucis so I feel so out of touch with it

A good friend of mine saved up a billion but stopped there. He's a hardcore grinder. (has 2 Fenrir mounts and never won the jackpot on either account)

He had a billion+ in FFXI as well, so no big surprise plus gil is 10x easier to make in 14. It is an awesome accomplishment and someday might be a useful one.

Making money is pretty easy in this game if you go hard at it. :D I don't really focus too much on it and only kinda make money to fund all Lucis/last two 4* books at the moment. Almost done though~

And finally, after 1.6 million MGP+ from GATEs+king... I have Fenrir. x_x

well I haven't seen any healer gear drop today, but I did get this!

This means that for the first time since the game launched, I'm completely current with all crafting content.

I have the ability to make (and presumably HQ) every craftable item in the game.

Two pre-expansion goals remain: finish relic (1/12 on mahatma stage, so should be easy), and max meld/obtain luci for all three DoL and my retainers DoL. This means I still need 120 moonstones....good times.

THAT feels good.

I can only do one or MAYBE two Master II books a day. It's too painful to do those crafts. x_x The money that goes into the FC3 (I used to do sandals but then I RARELY got FC3 from them) and then when Reclaim doesn't work. D: Last book I did I got about 21 FC3 since I figured I could do another one right after and then Reclaim failed about 4 times and I was just like "uhhhhhhh"... I feel so optimistic going into these crafts and then when I NQ at 80something percent, it makes me want to give up and then I get stubborn and decide I'll blow another 300k or so on FC3 because I need to finish for the night.
