Yeah even with a great ping I melded a SS V on the head and 2 SS Vs on the body.

I use that even when I can get 9 hit berserk using the "BiS" tank set with 510-530 sks.

Yeah I use that set if doing speedkills, it's just that I prefer to have max hp set for weekly normal clears, and it's probably better for your average casual raider.

Yeah I have the body since I bought it during prog anyway so this is exactly what I was going to do just for consistency. If I remeld my alex body with SS instead of det I can shave off another .01 but it's still sketchy to land it. I play DRK during weeklies/speedkills so I don't need to gimp my DRK build with SS melds this way too.

Weekly challenge log bonus plus feeding in the stable. Its really not that bad of a grind.

I did my weekly CL by syncing down in Middle La doing Fates.

I got a good chunk of my rank 20 just having my bird tag along to beastmen quests as I leveled alts from 50 to 60.

I also got rank20 chocobo upon coming back ^^ I remember I fed him a LOT in the stable, just krakka roots that I bought/grew, nothing fancy. You need stacks and stacks of them, but the real xp bonus for the bird is the challenge log once a week.

If you really want to get the most out of feeding in stables, have an alt in the fc with carrots too. Can feed it twice per hour, one on main and alt.

Don't think its a joke. He probably programmed his Keyboard to feed his bird automatically while he's AFK.
