i don't know what i'm looking at but you are strong and wise and i am very proud of you
As you progress with your home city you get access to a squadron of up to eight semi-randomly generated NPCs that can do missions and such for/with you. Completing certain parts of the challenge log gives a chance for one of them to show up to tryout for you, which you can accept or deny ad infinitum. I spent an unfortunate amount of time grinding this out to end up with eight midgets because reasons ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
nice dojo
Is Gridania's squad room so big? Seems a lot bigger compared to Uldah. Why are Immortal Flames always the worst in everything...
Looks big compared to Maelstrom too. I was confused when I saw that ss lol.
Seems to be the perspective. I assume he has the walls right behind him so looking a bit closer it appears to be similar.
Gridania's Squadron room is as big as any of the guilds in town.
6th character to level70. Just need to get him from Doma Castle to 4.2 now.

Curious, but why so many characters?
Weekly scripture turn ins and I pay for 4 extra retainers per character so I figure I might as well take advantage of that.
My main has 3 DoW, 1 Mining, 1 fishing, 1 botany capped. But now I have...
3 Mining and Botany retainers at 59
9 Mining and Botany retainers at 49
6 Mining, Botany, and Fisher retainers at 25ish.
I also do Doma Reconstruction with the metric ton of allagan pieces I'm getting as well but that's pocket change really.
When gil is "so easy" to come by I sometimes wonder if the 10-20mil mounts are mispriced lol
I imagine you're earning quite a bit in just how the game chucks gil at you and how you can easily just sell yellow script/patch currency items, and that's with 6 characters. I say this with only 1 character and I feel like money comes back too easily, I can't imagine with 6.
If I actually bothered to check the MB and sell crafted items I'd be sitting on hundreds of million. But alas I'm a pleb that's self sufficent and drops gil to skip gathering copious amounts of stuff like the fucking dust shit you gotta do collectibles for.
I will say when you're doing ShB leveling MSQ don't take the materia. Grab the gear and put that shit on the MB. That shit has made each alt like 3m without crafting.
Yup, leveling gear prices are usually pretty high on MB
been dumping gil into remodeling. trying to get more creative with my pad(still haven't bothered to learn how to float things rip). pretty happy with how things are coming along
more housing shit nobody gaf about. finally splurged on a castle layout. rip my expansion gil
v pleased though
Castles are a bitch to make. I made one as soon as they dropped and it took a village at the time, man. Had help from all my friends and bf to make that thing. It looks awesome though.
Also I'm so glad we can remove walls without losing them now cause you'd never be able to change your walls after making that thing lol.
I have a workshop so I started doing a cost analysis for crafting vs buying but then I realized the schematics alone require shit from airship missions and I'm like noooope
5 minutes and 8m later, a castle was born
speaking of cost analysis-- I'm so happy that I decided to hit casual omnicrafter status before undergoing this housing makeover. I probably saved a solid 10m making all of my own furniture and fixtures
