FFXIV Accomplishments Thread - Yay I did it!

Whew, after a bit over a month of work, I finally got all of the "I made that" achievements for all crafts. If they're going to keep tying high-end crafting tools to these achievements, now it won't feel like such a daunting task to complete.

I made literally everything that counts (i.e. nothing from master books) except for ALC. I want to punch whoever thought that the Hakutaku Eye Cluster & Bag of Booty should go into the synths that count toward the achievements. Yuck. No way I can complete those two.

Salvaged Coinage only seems to be from submarines, which I'm guessing you don't have? I haven't been sending my subs to the Upwell since those jerks still didn't bring me an Abroader Otter.

If you're on Aether, there's someone who puts together a PF for Pagos bunnies almost every day around 7pm EST. You could try checking PF occasionally.

My FC leader is not online much, and I do have the appropriate permissions, so I've sent the subs out a couple times. No luck so far. If the OF is to be believed, I'll probably need 155+ Surveillance, and right now our best sub that can reach the proper zone (Wreckage of the Headway) only has 140. The FC and my friends list are both pretty dead, so I'll have trouble getting 3 other people together to make better sub parts, but maybe I'll get bored enough over the weekend to upgrade it some more. Whenever the FC leader does get on (for like ~15 minutes every ~3 days), he sends the subs off to do other shit (not to the Abroader Otter zone(s) so idk wtf he's doing) without asking me what I was trying to do with them, so my motivation is pretty low.

Edit: Oh, fuck me. You need to send the subs out to get components for better sub parts? Hell naw. That's more dedication than I have just to cross a random synth off a list. It looks like only 4 sub combos meet 155+ Surv and 65+ Range without any Syldra parts. Looks like a full-Coelacanth sub might be my best bet. Maybe I'll see if I can slap that combo together.

I'm on Crystal, but I never even thought to look for a PF for bunnies, so I'll start checking periodically. I already have 5 Eureka relics though, so I'm not sure how much more time I want to spend in that awful place. With that said, I have fuck-all to do in-game for the next month. I was seriously contemplating grinding the mog tomes for the stupid Namazu earrings, just to kill time (already got 66 tomes, but spent 'em on the Pegasus mount [50] + minion [15]), or grinding for PvP mounts / TT cards.

There's like... basically no reason for me to make EVERYTHING though, so I'm not really stressin' about it.

My time killer before SHB is sightseeing log... God, I hate jumping puzzles in MMOs, lol. Finished all HW, SB except the two insane in Kugane, which I'll probably never do and just unlocked the second part of ARR log. Less annoying but there are still some pretty frustrating ones.

Syrcus Tower the easiest way to get tomes? (outside of BLU cheese)

Copperbell is the fastest if you use a pre-made and sac. MSQ is the slowest but it gives the most poetics and exp so if you need all 3 it is technically the best. Syrcus is in between and takes no effort or attention to complete.

I just did mine by doing 10 a day via roulettes and ST.

It was a pretty handy site. After you brought it up a couple weeks back and wasting a day waiting on #19, I got all but one done from the 21-80 range in 24 hours, and then the last I had to set my damn alarm clock for.

One thing I'll never be arsed to do is big fish log. Screw that.
