FFXIV Accomplishments Thread - Yay I did it!

My raid team cleared A12s sub 10min. Pretty pumped esp since we aren't close to BiS. Only WAR and NIN have i275 Weapons. We've had crap weapon drops and 2 more clears until 8 books.

Currently just seen 3 tower phase of A11S and found out there's XML callouts for ACT that will tell you what O. Sight is what. Just made the fight 12x easier.

Joining the late crowd to the A12S clear. Least it won't be a headache to run every week like A8S was with its 50 jumprope mechanics.

A11S is probably the highlight of this tier for me, unanticipated phase-skips and useless/nerfed QTEs aside.

A11S was definitely a lot of fun. The jump in mechanical difficulty from A10S was pretty sweet (No more silly echo hand holding) meanwhile it played out the whole 'Let me throw most mechanics at you in the first phase. Mix 'em up a little in the second phase (I'm looking at you DPS Photon) and then on the third phase spitting out mechanics while dodging lasers and not getting towers hit by O. Sight.

It took about 4 different groups to learn the fight. But really once I had the first phase down and didn't die to DPS Photon I was pretty set mechanically. Pretty sure I need more experience in third phase with not hitting towers but hell a clear's a clear. Just gotta not pull Hg Dc DPS next time.

But yeah A11S is hard.

We've been clearing 12 for 5 weeks and 11 still took an hour and a half last week for God knows what reason

one shotted a9-11S tonight, and got our first clear of A12S within one lockout. Felt pretty good. Got BLM Staff (for our non-existent BLM) and the Maiming chest (for my Glamour) though so..eyyy.

Either way, our group was only a two night a week kind of group as it is, so not much has changed in all honesty.

FINALLY lucked out. From getting literally 0 tank pieces, I got 3 in a single day today. Due to many members out for the holidays I had to run with a few (4/8) friends/members in Raid Finder. Got the Tank belt from A9S automatically because the other tank told me he just got it last week with pages, next A10S dropped the Fending mask which the other tank also had via Raid Finder! This was also 6/6 pages for A10S, I went and got the fending gauntlets, boosting me up pretty good. So happy for once!

RNGesus has been on my side for the past 2 weeks, I now have all the pieces I need from A10S, just need some gobdips now and to clear A11S/12S.





Because I also rolled 95 on the goddamn microtomestone, which I bought earlier that day for the DRK sword. FML. Oh well, maybe I will get PLD's or BLM since I am leveling that next. To be fair I didn't even plan on running, I got asked again which is kind of nice to know that I can just join whichever group. As a Tank my DPS sucks, but I know my role.
