The WAR AF3 is absolutely fucking terrible. I don't understand how people actually want it for aesthetics, let alone think it's good looking as a set. It's like they didn't learn anything from the tire carcass bearskin on the Ravager's Cuirass.

It suffers from extremely bad, glaringly obvious floating pauldrons/shoulder and hip armor. The Head-slot (Mask?) is fucking dumb. And perhaps worst of all the random metal shit hanging off your ass, as well as your waist in front just looks awful (the thing in front is especially bad; it's paper thin and just floats like two inches off your character model).

Who the fuck is paying someone to design this shit, and how do I get in on this kind of shitty modelling/design gravy train?

I imagine when you have to come up with like 200 new armor sets per expansion, one or two are gonna end up shitty.

Look on the bright side, at least there aren't any zippers.

Actually I just looked at all of them holy shit they're all like that. Random shoulder spikes are my nemesis. There's an abundance of random shoulder pads too.
The bard has bagpipes? O...kay... That's a pretty large thing to stick on the side of a dress but whatever.
There actually isn't a single armor set here that doesn't have some completely out-of-place element that makes me wanna glamour over it

You can; there's a bunch of posts there from reddit, facebook etc. It's mostly OF but if it's "OF in spirit" nobody's going to complain.

leddit might as well be the fucking OF. It's an endless repetition of very similar questions by clueless newfags that can be resolved by 3 minutes (or less) of Google searching, blogposts by newfags about completing (shit no one cares about here, like 2.0's main story), asspat/attention-whoring, fanart, and stale as fuck memes that have finally filtered down the human centipede into the ass end that is leddit from meaningful culture generators like 4chin.

It also features much of the same Yoshida worship as the OF and includes the bonus of downvotes because you don't agree with the incredibly hugbox culture of the subreddit. Even if BG is pretty dead as compared to the XI days, it's probably still the best public forum to discuss/complain about XIV. It says a lot when you see plenty of the same people who have appeared in the OF thread specifically mention BG as a source of eternal asshurt for them, going back to XI. I'd probably guarantee the same shit that got them mocked/told to fuck off from BG (can't follow rules about dumb questions, etc.) in the past was the same sort of cluelessness or unabashed ignorance they display today. lol
