Decided to hop back in OW recently. Peaked at ~2950 early in the season (placed at like 2650), wanted purple badly, and just couldn't get it for the life of me after dropping a bunch. Started at 2532 yesterday and went like 15-4-4 to hit 2931. Now I am alternating W-L-W-L and again cannot get past 3000. GIVE ME THE FUCKING PURPLE BADGE!
Watching Talespin stream and some guy called him a smurf since he was doing his placements. Pretty sure the guy was serious about it. lol
Gimme a date and time, we'll knock that shit out. If you can pry me off Nioh at least.
Fuck yeah; was stuck b/w 2900 and 3000 for like 20 matches. Hit 2984 after a W and figured another L was due; absolutely steamrolled the next team at Dorado to break the seal finally.
Grats, lol at the picture of the monitor though XD
I climbed a lil myself, highest up I've been on the board. Feels good man, esp since season ends next week.
Spoiler: show
wtb carry from Cel next season pst
Damn that's impressive. Solo Queue or duo+?
Damn Celeras; that is impressive. And it was a shot of my TV actually haha; I play on console.
celeras pls carry me like Brandon Marshall thx
Need dat carry lol
Season 4, Can carry* anyone 2250+, my max range as a mid-diamond.
*Disclaimer* I play support 90% of the time on ranked. Hard to carry as a support if your entire team ditches you to the enemy Winstons/Genjis/Tracers.
I mostly run Reaper, Zarya, Pharah, sometimes zeny, i mostly suffer in solo q anyways. The triple tank meta really turned me off this season that's why i was absent almost all of comp.
Part of me feels like I should try a last push to get to Diamond.
EDIT: Also for some self boasting:
nigga you aint the only one stylin on other teams with reaper
also, that rein was an idiot for not blocking that
I actually did all of my recent 2500-3000+ leveling in soloQ; found it easier than premades, though I've had luck with 2-3 man groups in the past w/ Mal, etc. Once you get to 4+ man premades, you better really work well with them (vs randos) because the premade large group competition can get pretty nuts.
Death Blossom kills aren't really that hard. Here's my one time ever playing Reaper, Jun 6 of last year, Quint kill + another at the end, never played him again because easy mode.
IDK Diving into a team like that and not dying, not sure what the hell they were doing lol, pretty darn lucky and a good play
