Orisa/Bastion is like re-enacting the best parts of Rambo. Been doing it on Easy to work on the 8 different character achievement before I go back to expert on normal.
On all heroes though, it amazes me how many times 3 people insta queue dps then wonder why I can' tank and heal at the same time.
if 3 people insta dps don't stand for that shit

Seagull leaving NRG active roster to fulltime stream until OWL starts, feels bad man.
i mean, with his popularity he's basically lighting money on fire when he's not streaming
Grabbed these at a con I'm at
Sakuracon?
Played some Uprising on my Alt this morning since I wasn't able to last night when I finally got home. One game I healed as Ana when we had a Winston, Soldier and Genji. We won, but that was a pain in the ass.
There's also a way to glitch (?) the escort part. Just before the defend countdown ends, send 1 person all the way to the end door and have them just stand there. Nothing will spawn for the entire escort as long as the person doesn't leave the door. Someone did it in one of the runs I did and I was able to do it in other (normal) runs. Note that you will get an inactivity notice if you don't do anything and that if you step away from the door everything will start spawning.
Nah. Another con.
The Uprising with normal heroes event is driving me insane on difficulties expert and higher... I keep getting paired with silvers who have no clue what their role is and it's just impossible to clear anything above hard like that.
From my understanding, Legendary of the story one is literally nigh impossible. Apparently only a handful of people have beaten it, and of those they're all GM tier, and they only beat it with seconds remaining.
I think it's difficult, but definitely not impossible. I'd also say that probably the only one required to be that high of a rank is Tracer because of how easy it is to die on her. I think it's more like any sort of PvE content on any game where you just need to understand your role really well and be above average in skill to eventually be able to clear it if you're running it in a set group. It seems like a clear basically requires a run-saving huge res at some point based on the clears I watched and the Mercy has to play super aggressive damage-wise sometimes even when people are critical. Past that, it's the same as the rest of the game: ult management and positioning.
I just met one of the special people.
Have a Junkrat on Volkskaya. After we only take Point A, he starts bitching about how no one grouped up, which, fair point. I'm not talking to this guy or anything, he has a point.
On Defense, decent comp, Junkrat goes outside the enemy spawn, trap, etc... But he stays like 5 feet away to keep lobbing. We see where he's standing, and like two people go "Junk, get back with the team!" before it's too late. Nah, he's cool, manages to live like five seconds, so it's an instant 6v5. Does not go well.
At the end, I asked him why he was so far up front at the start, he was no where near the team. He called me stupid for not knowing how to heal, I have to go with him (and leave the team), because that's what people who actually know how to heal do. At no point during his stupid shit did he realize that even had I been Ana or Zen, he couldn't have received a heal, he was that far away from us, and that close to them. He wasn't trolling, he was dead serious. Why would I risk almost certain death near him (and around 2 corners from the team), how could that logic work in anyone's mind?
Sounds like the usual; can't possibly be that person's fault for terrible positioning, it must be the healer's!
Sidenote: Got to the last part on legendary with randos (who were silvers and golds actually so it must've been a miracle) so I'm even more convinced it's very beatable especially after reading this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwatch/c...e_minute_left/
If anyone wants to do it who isn't the suck, lemme know... I'll prob try to get a set 4 together to clear it. I really don't think it'll take that long to get through.
Spent hours doing legendary (expert is a joke in comparison) for two days. I was able to get a group to get to the last phase reliably each time but the difference in difficulty is through the f'ing roof that it really needs to be tweaked or have the earlier waves be of similar difficulty. I gave up on it because of the amount of time it takes just to get to it (even with glitch) only to lose soon after was getting tiring after two days.
Glitch is gone
