Ran into a Bastion/Reinhardt. Holy shit was that something to overcome.

Somehow between the CBT and the OBT my accuracy with Roadhog's hook went from <20% to 70-90%.

That feeling when you hook a mercy and blast her face off.

Also I love it when I'm playing against Reinhardt's who don't realize melee attacks go through shields.

Makes it real easy to kill them.

I had a pair of these in a game last night. Pretty much stopped us dead in our tracks since 4 guarded the point and Tracer/Eskimo Girl flanked us constantly.

I like going zero fear with Roadhog and grabbing Rein's and they are shocked by it.
Would also help if more people would hit the damn barrier than just think they can't do anything about it (that and Symmetra's orbs going through them).

Honestly if you focus fire him he can't do much without support. Which I know is a lot if he has Reinhardt but really I feel if I draw the ire of more than 2 people I'm not living long with Bastion.

I'm really digging this game more than any other shooter in the past 10 years but Street Fighter 5 has made me very hesitant in dropping 60 on an only multiplayer game. First world problems.

Loving Bastion, dabbling in Rein, Lucio, and Genji.

As much fun as this is, some characters are just stupid broken while others are very under powered.

Reinhardt is fun but his 2k shield is lolwat that recharges on a dime flat. Bastion is just stupid as well.

honestly i dont feel like many can survive against 2+ attackers, especially while dealing damage in return. Tracer is one of the couple I can think of who can get away with it, tbh I feel her pistols do more damage than they should. I dont think that lack of solo viability is a bad thing though, team based play is something lacking in the competitive fps space. just a shame most people i get queue'd with dont understand this isnt call of duty and that bum rushing and trying to be a solo hero is hurting more than helping (unless you are playing Tracer, or maybe D.Va who can be a behind-enemy-lines distraction).

also, i dont know if it's worth $40 right now either with the limited game modes. we'll have to see if blizzard has any ace in the hole on release. battleborn seems much more feature heavy, albeit at a $60 release price with a dubious post-launch business model. the two games play so completely differently though that it's hard to choose one or the other.

Bastion has so many counters. From snipers, to junk rat, synnestra, tracer, solder 76.

My favorite is using roadhog's hook. That shit immediately takes you out of turret mode and ready for a huge spanking.

How does Synnestra counter him? I only tried her during my initial pass of trying out each healer, but beyond tossing a shield on each ally and deploying her short range turrets, I didn't see much of a use to her. Her charge ball is like the slowest projectile in the game, not sure how much damage it does.

Been enjoying Mei a lot more than I realized, easily top 3 for me if not #1. So much 1v1, team fight, and survivability potential in the regular quick matches. Can see the issues with competitive though.

Mercy is OP but man if you can fucking get her you got her.

@Malithar I wouldn't hop onto Synnestra just to counter him. However the charged shots can put up some damage and will make Bastion reconsider where he's at or force him to repair rather than reload or shoot. Soldier 76 does a far better job in what I'm saying to do with Synnestra though.

Roadhog's hook is probably my favorite way of getting rid of Bastion though.

Yeah, her survivability is based solely on having other people to shift key over to, and even that is super strong man. Love this character
