After failing Europa multiple times, decided to try him out again now that we have Fina and 2 more espers, managed to finally kill him thanks to cheer buff and Raging Fist spam from Lasswell and Drill from Edgar! Onward to Intermediate now!

Locked chests do not respawn after you unlock them and they do require keys that you can get with Lapis or you can craft the keys using rare drop materials (the latter is recommended), atm you really don't "Need" the majority of the locked chests (you can use KBP's town/dungeon list to see what each locked chest contains btw), so its recommended to not bother with them.

I have a question on rerolling. Am I aiming for a character or the rarity + the character. I rolled a 3 star Exdeath and not much else of the recommended characters. I am just curious if I should try my luck again. I don't mind rerolling.

Rolling on the character, all higher rarity means is less exp/mats you got to use to get it to a higher rarity, so 3* Exdeath is just as good as a 5* Exdeath.

Keep it. You can awaken it to 5* and it'll be just as powerful. The leveling/awakening process can be slightly annoying, but it's nothing that you can't grind out. It's definitely preferred to rolling over and over for a 5*, specially since those have been clocked in around 1%.

You need to pull with lapis to get the good stuff. The first pull is always a random 1* iirc.

Did a couple pulls with tickets, picked up Cecil and Vaan, who seem to be on the list of good characters, I think? So there's that. That's pretty neat.

I like the game so far. Between this, FFRK, and KHUx.. gosh, so much mobile. Not enough time.

Correct, the Units in battle don't get the usual FF Front/Back row affecting DMG done/taken. Its just for show.

Yeah, combat plays more like Valkyrie Profile in that respect.

Used the initial lapis and the free summon tickets; only good unit I seemed to get was Terra (3 star); got a 4 star Maria/Cyan, and 2 Edgars.

If I reroll, will I still get the 10 tickets again, or just the initial Lapis?

Both, all accounts both new and old get the pre-registration bonus. So this is a great time to start rerolling.
