Played since Beta too and am F2P, only have 1 native 5* (Greg from last month), although I did take a 5 month hiatus after July.

Edit: Actually Y'shtola does technically count as a native 5* as well, so make that 2 then.

I hate you all for posting Orlandu pulls. Not that I care - I could go either way on him - but I'm trying really hard to avoid this banner (I have enough bonus units for a full team) and you're not making it easy...


F2P here, two 5* bases: Lightning and Greg. Pulled Lightning on 11x, and Greg a few tickets later. BUT you can't really count me because I rerolled during the anniversary event with a free 11x draw. Should have Y'sh by the end of this event so I guess three 5*s for me too.


5* base rates for f2p will go up in the future though, because of the gacha change. Keeping in mind that almost every f2p player has pulled at least one rainbow crystal - but back in the day, that didn't mean jack shit lol. I know this because I fucking quit over a 5* Duane or Garnet or something, I don't remember what it was.

I want to state for the record, hate all of you who get chocobos during this Orlandu event lol, only got them once and they were 2 yellow chocobos, haven't seen them once since.

I have Lightning, Luneth, Decil and Y'shtola as native 5*. Got 2-3 troll rainbows though (in 1.0). Been playing since Beta and Lightning was my very first rainbow pull so it took a few months lol.
Does Maxwell count? It's technically 5* but I didn't have to pull for her :/

Aside from these Orlandus, all of my 5*bases were on free pulls/tickets, with the exception of Noctis (I think).

Free Ramza/Greg/Dark Fina/Lightning (x2)/Olive/Delita, plus all the troll *5 before the rainbow change.

Daily = Gold = Snow #2.

I've pulled White Knight Noel off of a daily during that event and Greg from about 25 tickets thrown at players choice. Also got a 5 star Chizuru upgrade on a pull. If FFXIV pulls count, I have pulled 2 Y'shtola as well. Which actually leads to my question. Will I ever need more than 1 of her?

I pulled Luneth/Lightning/Greg/Ace/Noctis all pre-boost with tickets/daily pulls only. Post, I've gotten Olive. I have Yun, but don't remember when he popped. I pulled Y'sh at about three days into the Ifrit event. Playing since launch, however, the first four-five months, I only logged in to get daily rewards. On the flipside, I never pulled a Zidane until post, and I've pulled five in the last couple of days, two Shine, and semi-useful blues.

As for the FFT event, super crazy luck. Three rounds in a row, three red chobo. 39 stam for 30k, so I bought the moogle and am done. I bought everything. I made 60k day one (saw a lot of chocobo). At rank91, between Ifrit and FFT, rank up every other day.
