Use Luneth in arena. He has native NULL Para/confuse/blind/petrify. Give him a short sword for ATK bonus 20%. He's stronger than Lightning but no element nor dodge.

I gave up trying to get zyrus. Exdeath gonna be my best blm for awhile. Don't think I'll put luneth on my arena team. My current team is pretty fun. It's just about my main party but I swap setzer for rain. Chain cod chizuru and him and pretty much everyone dies on the first round.

Got lucky and got 4x golds........... only for them to become Garnet dupe, Mercedes dupe, fucking Seven dupe, and Hope dupe..... fuck the off banner rate of this game.

My arena team is Cecil/Refia/Rain/Reberta/Firion.

I give Firion the Thorned Mace and Second Knife, with Bladeblitz. Refia and Cecil Embolden/Focus, Rain Undermines, Reberta uses a breath attack. Second turn Undermine someone else, Refia uses Bio Blaster, Curaja from Cecil if I need it, Mystic Thrust from Reberta and more blitz from Firion, switch out for Fin Briar if everyone else is/mostly dead.

Things that lower status are banned this week so I switched out Reberta for Dangerous Ariana and just dualcast Thundaga, Rain uses Firaga instead of Undermine. Usually win any fight in 2-3 turns if I don't get screwed on status effects. Though there is the occasional Chizuru that refuses to go down. I'm real close to being done with the Colosseum but I just need so many pots, I can't quit the Arena anytime soon.

Finally pulled a Zyrus, apparently sold a few of his TM Moogles when I wasn't paying attention, currently @90% but that won't take much to get 2 more drops. Rem is pretty nice Mag/Spr with her dagger bonus and I will DW her with Zyrus TM once I have it. Should make her fairly useful for people to farm the ELT with w/o being a carry unit for those that might not be able to solo it.

Edit: is Rem's exclusive Materia worth getting? It looks like it could be mean in Arena.

Personally can't bring myself to give a shit about enhancements since they've been so freakin' stingy with the crystals. And since I've still got some TMs to grind for a more rounded main team, blowing energy on the dungeons isn't really on the table, either. Presuming we're not stuck in a grind event like now.

To anyone who plays JP version, do we have a mag/spr dagger of any kind coming in the near future? Right now got Defender's + Rod on Rem. Trying to see if there is something coming in the future as decent Magic rods are in short supply for when I need a BLM team right now. I have Drakesclaw (not terribly high MAG), Lovely, Lilith, Wizard and very soon Draco Spike. Got an Omni rod at 40% right now but its still low on the priority list.
