I did an inventory and I'm sitting on ~150MAG worth of pots (kings, normal, and a small pile of minis). At the moment I've got Rem, Ashe, Victoria, Zyrus, ExD all capped on MAG. Should I sit on the big pots? Or with the physical-resistant trials coming out soonish should I raise somebody else? I have multiple of all of those mages except Rem (I'm thinking having a second Ashe to chain may be a good idea?). I have a distinct lack of mag-based 5* other than Rem. After playing almost solely mages across all the MMO games I've played, I can't pull the better mages to save my life; no Fry, DFina, Emp, Ace, TT, etc.

AsheX2 seems to be priority since they can chain and full heal. Victoria can chain and finish (and if you use Firaja after 5 Overflow, it'll actually break the 5 cap and go to 7). Zyrus finishes. Rem is great for finish, too.

Burned all of what I had saved, plus a lot I didn't, on the last couple banners. This one appears skip-able other than dailies. We'll get all of these while chasing other units (onion knight likely isn't too far away). It would be nice to get a spear mastery, but none other than Lightlord would crack the first team.

yeah agreed, given how much chasing happened between Rikku, DV/FV/EV and now the Nier banner... im going back to dailies only until OK or something else shows up that is crazy OP.

I've been TMRing the hell out of Shines as I got them, only to realize today that with the new veritas TMR and the knuckles mastery, A2 won't even use them. Oops? I've got 7 now that I'm using to gear up a bunch of randos. Oh well, ready for 10-man!

I think I'm going to skip this banner as well. Don't have any spear users and I don't need anymore Charlotte or Hiyate. And I won't get lightlord. How is Charlotte as a 6* compared to earth veritas and WoL?

She doesn't really compare but she is a mana battery with access to green and white magic. She does have AoE cover as well though but I think it's less mitigation overall.

I did. Chic Arianna was a big upgrade for my arena squad. I gave her one of my now not-so-useful double cast materias and had her replace an Exdeath. Same mag and about 2k more hp

Haven't touched it yet since exploration maps crash the game on my phone (as well as cut scenes and arena....) and haven't had a chance to play on emulator this week.

Also skipping using tickets and lapis on this to save for future banners.

I guess but don't bet on it, Charlotte is a 3* units and an old one at that. If anyone is getting buffs it's the 4*/5* Veritas. Charlotte's 6* is good on its own anyway (AoE Cover, AoE Refresh, Stop attack, Embolden) and her exclusive shield adds even more utility. She's simply not as good as the best options and that's fine.

Whenever we have a raid boss like this I try to max damage (BECAUSE WHY NOT!).

I used Soleil+2, Luneth+2, Olive, Cid, A2 and friend A2. I used 2 turns; soleil running +120% everything, shattering shot for debuff in first round coupled with Advance, then chained orlandu and both A2 along with Olive and Luneth's slay. Chain hit 83 with all holy weapons.
