I'm home now. I posted that last update from the car en route. I did not get to say goodbye as i had hoped, but the trip was well worth it. Collin passed surrounded by friends amd family, eating whatever he wanted, and generally having a good time. I spent the visit with said family and friends, talking about Collin and going through some of his stuff for them, since im the next-techiest person in the group after him. His sense of humor was readily apparent in his file organization on his computer haha. A whole drive named "Lord of the Files" for example.

He will be greatly missed and I thank you all for your well wishes.

My condolences. It seems he did get to go on his own terms though, as you said surrounded by friends and family and doing/eating what he wants.
