It's funny you say that. When I saw Distant Worlds last year, Arnie Roth (the conductor) when he was introducing "The Oath" he mentioned he's been wanting to do that song forever but they couldn't find the original sheet music so they couldn't do it and it was randomly found.
Actually spending today making a FF playlist on Spotify.
Wasn't FFVIII's OST always in english though?
Hey man why do you expect me to know whether the OST came out in JP in japan or not?
Well no but FFVIII's OST has always been unique due to that, I assumed it was a known fact
They have now updated the names to English
Did anyone ever listen to the fan made album "Voices of the Lifestream"? This was probably my favorite mix of 7 songs, highly worth a listen Clicky Clicky

A re-release of the original Nier would be welcome. That soundtrack is nothing short of incredible.

That would be kind of a bummer for me because I juuuust watched a let's play of Nier Gestalt and I wouldn't have if there was an updated re-release in the works lol. But yeah, it definitely needs a re-release on PC and/or current gen platforms, it's an amazing game that just needs a few extra touch ups to achieve its potential.
It'd also be nice if they'd release the Grimoire Nier and other materials to a global audience now that Nier's popularity has really taken off.
