I don’t follow Supergirl, only shows I watch are Flash and Legends usually, but I know peripherally about the Lena plot line. Does this merging of worlds mean that all of that is wiped clean? Are there any other storylines that might have gone the same way?

My beef with fights is similar to the shift toward a villain of the season motif. These things are supposed to be about people with unique abilities doing cool things with them. Instead, that gets marginalized for shitty relationship drama most of the time. Legends winds up the ironic exception a lot because they've not been bound to a city or even an era, as well as better embracing powers and tech.
