Plus it gave us so many fantastic memes over the years.

Duel of the Fates is fucking epic. Also, the end of Anakin's theme with the subtle Vader theme is top notch.

R1 was soooooooooo boring. The trailer scenes that got cut looked so damn cool. Solo was just meh.

Rogue One in general was just a huge edited mess. Felt like a Disney intern had done it. Actors like Whittaker and Mikkelsen somehow felt like last minute editions and a gigantic waste of their talent.

R1 bores me to sleep now. Solo had so much going on though that I honestly don't need to go through it again for awhile. Vader and Leia make R1 great, but otherwise I think Solo is the better film.

So it seems like Boba Fett (and likely Obi Wan) has been officially canned in favor of The Mandalorian and IX.

I'm betting Mandalorian is becoming a test for reviving the spinoff movies as more of a Netflix type premiere for Disney's streaming service instead of a full blown theatrical release. Happy and sad at the same time, because the franchise needs some rest.
