Yeeeah had to chime in on C17/C18 thing. They were most definitely weaker in the future timeline than they are now.

About the logic thing, at this point I think it's safe to say to throw it all out. Story is becoming a little bit whatever he decides to come up with as time passes (regarding the Beerus-Freeza connection)
On the trailer link, there's a few people raging about Gohan going super saiyan again lol
Although apparently they went back to "fix" this in battle of gods? I'll really need to rewatch it to confirm lol
I don't remember Gohan going SSJ in Gods, bu I may be wrong.
At this point, though, don't expect logical story or w/e. Just go with it.
Either it's fixed or it was the trailer/poster prior to the movie release. I forgot where I read they had to go back and fix it lol. But yeh I'm happy to roll with it, but... ! explanation below:
It's cool that there's another movie coming but I'm more in the crowd of wanting to see "movie specials" rather than one off movies. In this instance the Trunks and Bardock special was great. It told stories and the good guys don't win, it was nice and dramatic, and it didn't try to include the entire cast (which is exhausting/cringing to see them attempt to be useful in the current era of movies). But it was a nice movie/side story type deal. I'm ultimately willing to have more side/past stories (the new Bardock movie don't count.... fuck those retarded looking race and also that mini freeza) such as:
Bardock's missions prior to the fateful "trap" one with his bros, i dunno, just make a bromance space travel + fighting aliens + conquering planets type movie lol, and more saiyan life footage while under freeza domination
More of Goku's adventures, and his acquirement of SSJ3 form in the afterlife
Yamcha, Tien, Chaozu, Piccolo bromance movie and travelling through the quirks of afterlife dimension on their way to king kais (afterlife road trip! on foot/flying! lol)
I never understood why Mystic Gohan never went SSJ. I know he was much stronger than SSJ2 once his full potential was unlocked, but I saw no point in him NOT going SSJ, especially against Buu.
Didn't they say he'd blow up the planet or some shit?
the mystic upgrade made his SSJ form pointless, as he was stronger without, and had full access to his power (and more) without having to get angry or have a mental breakdown.
God form also seems to have a super limited time. But it also increased Goku's normal form for w/e reason. They should all just go god form, would allow them to all get nice power ups lol.
Normal form was increased by the lolforceofwill which probably only Goku have
Frieza is just a nostalgia villain. I thought we all figured this out years ago watching Frieza and Cell get their asses handed to them in Hell over and over.
Didnt he go SS during the initial power transfer then again with his feetus?
Edit: nvm rata got me.
New movie idea.
Caballa's big game hunter.
Starring #17.
Not gonna lie, those look really cool!
Regarding Tien vs Krillin, Toriyama said that Krillin was "strongest Earthling male" but it was in regards to him being married to Android 18. There's also the fact that Tien is technically a Triclops, if that has anything to do with the definition of earthling male. Since Toriyama eventually threw out the power rating method of measuring strength, who really knows.
That would make sense. It took an "Ascended" Trunks to be able to defeat them (and easily at that), but they curb-stomped Gohan and sliced off his arm and shit.
I think powerlevel wise they were the same, the time anomaly being 16 actually existing.
How did Gohan lose his arm anyway? I might need to find that manga/chapter.
In the movie it appears he took a shot for Trunks, and in the scenes afterwards his arm seems intact (but was not in pain). Then while hiding, 17 and 18 blew up the city, and after that his arm was missing. It was that or the blowing up lol
