My feet hurt more from the center of my foot and radiate outwards. If I roll my feet onto the outside it helps alleviate the pain, as does just getting weight off them like standing on my toes or heels.

That was how I was alleviating my pain as well. Most of the time I was walking around at work without shoes cuz it felt better too (health clinics with tile floors). You might want to see a podiatrist just to be sure everything's alright.
