Announcing the Fan Festival 2014 in Tokyo Live Stream

We’re pleased to announce the details regarding the live stream for the Fan Festival in Tokyo that will be held on Saturday, December 20th and Sunday, December 21st (GMT).

Tokyo may be quite the trek for most, which is why we're bringing the fun to your very own homes and delivering all of the juicy details!
The FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Festival is the largest event held for FINAL FANTASY XIV and we don't want players to miss any of the excitement! We'll be broadcasting all of the stage events as well as other content so that players not in attendance can enjoy the event!



Players will be able to choose between the Standard Stream and the Premium Stream, which features the keynote, special piano concert, the concert performed by THE PRIMALS, as well the Moogle Attire in-game item.

There will be an English translation of the keynote:

The premium stream will feature broadcasts of all of the stage events in high video quality , including the keynote, the special concert (piano) and the concert performed by THE PRIMALS. Additionally, viewers will be given the Moogle Attire in-game item. Please be aware that only the keynote will be translated into English in real-time.

So whats dumb is that most of us will not be able to purchase the tickets cus of the 3d secure "feature" since its differs from region to region, I tried and I could not purchase unfortunately.

I'm just trying to figure out why they can't pay Koji Fox to sit there and translate for the event so we can understand this one like the JPs could understand both the EU and NA fanfests (by proxy. they speak in japanese anyway). if they want to make it something that we can only understand for intermittent periods (right now we only know we'll be able to know what they're saying during the keynote), maybe it should be heavily discounted for NA/EU. but who am I kidding, this is the same company charging $1 for pots of one time use dye and shit.

The keynote is 2am GMT on Saturday morning so screw that frankly. I'll just sleep and get the lowdown when I wake up. If it's anything like the others, that's going to be the big news about the expansion and then there will be something in the liveletter (which is 01:30 on Sunday morning...)

They "should" be announcing what the gun class is, and what it does and a few other details they havn't mentioned in the other fanfests.

They (Yoshi-P I guess in this case) keep saying that the gun class won't be what we're expecting it to be. What are the chances it's not even a battle class? o_O

Spy DoH -> stealthily steals info and mats off enemies? Kind of like a miner with mining nodes or a botanist with botany nodes? But more spy-like. Making it more like an actual thief, having to secretly steal shit without getting caught?

Its a Job, not a class, they said new Jobs, the fact that Drk doesn't even have a class says alot.
