Since this is a sorta-kinda remake of FF1 does Garland ever become a threat later on?

Well, the game kicks off labeling him a heretic, so it seems likely he'll eventually decide he's had enough of our shit. Given 1 starts off with him having kidnapped the princess, it'll most likely relate to us meeting her in the flesh or shortly after. I dunno, maybe someone more JP savvy has the skinny.
Magicite update went live, we no longer have an expiration timer.
Guess I'll enjoy my sweet, sweet loot box in about a month then.
Presently spamming 2 stamina dungeons with a wind build and a little dark just to try and build my pool.
My current goal is to unlock Dark Knight and boost it up so I can tackle the event dungeon. Shit is extremely challenging, I like it!
What dungeons are you guys using to level up with after the story is completed?
If just general killing, I was hunting the boss pops in ch2 on easy and upgrading the rarer versions just because. But if focusing on a specific element, ch1 hard in the 2nd stage is probably the most stamina efficient unless said cards still keep you level 85+.
Current setup for knight
Should have an ice ability too, you're going to end up wasting turns using up ice orbs on useless ice resistance on some fights.
Yeah I'm trying to work into that currently. Just using the others to farm dark and light seeds mainly.
i pullled a 4* shiva ability. i have hunter, will a 3* ranger ice element card do more damage ?? bc shiva has mage/staff icon
Currently what I'm working with atm:
Spoiler: show
Fenrir was just put on today, while I was WAR, I was using ice abilities. I really need to find a good place to level my cards up so I can start farming fire skillseeds. The 3rd skillseed chart needs a shit ton of them.
The third Hunter class, Ranger I think, has a decent Magic stat, but I think the 3* Ranger card would probably outperform it if its capped. But you pulled the Shiva so its got all its buffs, Max level, and Max everything... so it'll probably be way better for you unless that 3* card is also fully maxed.
I don't know how big of a bonus you get off class matching sadly, if it was in the tutorial I missed it.
Magic actually doesn't boost magic damage but damage and break power for any job related card. So if you're Hunter/Ranger it'll work on any card that matches your job type and not the others.

tl;dr
Attack = raises damage of basic attacks and ultimates
Magic = raises damage and break damage of all cards that are the same archetype as your current class (I.E. Ifrit gets a bonus for warriors)
Break Power = raises damage done to the break gauge from basic attacks
Can easily test the Magic thing too. Check your equipped cards when you have some of your current job equipped and some without, the cards matching your job will have an enormous Magic bonus while ones of other classes will not, signifying that the ones of your current class are getting a damage boost as they are meant to be.
Has lower magic but higher HP and defense
