Yeah, the movie-verse was kinda all over the place. SAC was way better in that regard, even if I didn't like the arc of the 2nd season.

I think it depends on what kind of "doesn't make sense" it is. GiTS movies do leave unanswered questions and the general high(er than most things) concept can go over people's heads if they aren't familiar with sci-fi (and hell, even if they are). Then there's the doesn't make sense like Batman vs Superman where it isn't complicated, just stupid.

As long as this movie has the invisible sub-machine gun guy at the start and the tank battle at the end, that's really all I want to see in terms of a live action adaptation.

I'm willing to take on the mantle of autism but from day fucking one that window crashing scene has pissed me off to no end. There is literally no way that she could come in through the window at that angle unless she fucking hulk jumped up from the ground up to it.
