So, great idea, but bad execution? Sounds like Guild Wars 2.... not that I can even participate, I'm milking the teat very slow and only one of my characters is even in the 50's (although, I could just cheat my way through tomes if I wanted to hit 80).

Welp. Buying the game now, What server or whatever is everyone on? I'll update when i get playing and such.
Patching at 91%. Soo uh if anyone still plays what server so i can play it before i sleep for work.

I"m on Jade Quarry, but server doesn't mean much unless you're doing WvW now. IRRC they adjusted servers with a smart system of sorts to place you in the same area as your friends/guild when you zone into somewhere.

Even if they didn't you can still talk to people on different servers/join their PTs.

Double tap any direction or press V (unless you've changed it).

Outside of that, it gets better as you progress.

Took me like a half hour to get the drop (defense chest), and those in my guild who actually leave WvW seem to be done as well. Anecdotally not rare at all.

Throw 3 hours of consecutive play in SW resulting in nothing. More rarity for your anecdotal.

That's a nice anecdote you got there after 3 drops. It didn't quite cover people getting lucky did it? haha.

I am about 4 hours in of farming Silverwastes now, I'm not even that bothered anymore but now It has turned into this thing with myself just to see one drop. I am my own worst enemy.

Event mobs in silverwastes don't usually drop items. Dry Top they do.

I think that is where people are err'ing.
