Why not make mini Jaegers (Guyver biosuits) for each person in the military? Build them with enough destructive power to break the monster's skin and the maneuverability will make it it'll harder for monsters to hit...

Because they couldn't. The first few small ones had world militaries thrown at them without a dent before they started resorting to nukes. Heck even full sized ones had trouble and the last one took a nuke to the face and was fine.

It's a prequel so lower tech I guess, surely pre full-on CG additions too. That pastel blue is pretty terrible looking :X. Why are there two pilots though? It was established in the first one that Elba's character solo piloted, hence his nose bleeds and shit.

I coulda sworn there was an article in this thread I remember reading back in 2016 saying it was a prequel, but looking back through it now, I just see a mention of "what if." Most recent article seems to confirm sequel with Boyega as Elba's son. Big ol' derp, ignore me.
