On the bright side, they could make her less bland than she was before, but I wouldn't count on it.

Pretty sure you can just buy a single character and you don't need a season pass, but I don't exactly remember how that went for Vayne since I didn't buy him.

Seems like some interesting data confirming the rest of Season 1 and Season 2 has been found while datamining NT!
The rest of the Season 1 roster should be: Kam'lanaut, Yuna and Snow (from Lightning Returns).
Season 2 should include mostly returning characters with Tifa, Prishe, Gilgamesh, Laguna and Gabranth as well as new additions with Zack and Vivi!
Honestly Snow is the only odd one here to me because everyone else has already been hinted at through stage additions (Stellar Fulcrum is the XI stage, Alexandria's plaza for IX and Midgar for VII/Crisis Core) but not him. I suppose you could guess from Lightning's default outfit but Caius would've been a much better pick imo.
I also wouldn't rule out a "Super" Dissidia NT instead of Season 2 given that the number of characters found is 7.
